Bolobedu – Thabo Sylvester Makgobolo affectionately known by his stage name “General Manizo” was apprehended by the police on Tuesday afternoon following the discoveries made by the Tzaneen SAPS (Tzaneen Tracing Team).

It is alleged that the “Taba Tsa Ma Bad” hit maker shot and killed a young woman rumoured to have been his lover, Kamogelo Mitchell Maake in early March at Morutji Tarven in full view. Following the incident the suspect has been on the run, after thorough investigation made by the Tzaneen SAPS it was discovered that the suspect was hiding in Mohlakamosoma village where he was arrested.

Upon his arrest a 9mm norinco pistol was discovered, the weapon is believed to be a murder weapon with serial numbers filled off in Relela village. Following further investigation two more 9mm norinco fire arms were discovered with serial numbers also filled off from two male suspects who are believed to be associated with Manizo.

The arrest of the Bad Company 226 Gang Leader doesn’t come as a surprise, as he’s been in and out of jail for similar crimes. Bad Company crew manager, Zimba Mashala popularly known as “Zimba Wa Bolobedu” also confirmed the arrest of the artist. Various fans of the crew expressed their disappointment in General Manizo. The Amadamara music singer is set to appear in court soon.
