Lidoda Dhuva sits at the bottom of the table but their manager, Joel Masutha still have a glimmer of hope to survive relegation. The 2018/19 National First Division champions have experienced their worst start to any season in the last two decades, sitting 16th in the 16-club league after picking only four wins and suffering 11 defeats thus far.

However, Masutha believes he has done enough following the arrival of new players as the league returns from the international break. They will begin their survival mission at home when they will be locking horns with Jomo Cosmos on Sunday the 3rd of April 2022.

“In order to survive relegation we’ll have to win our 7 last games especially the one’s we’ll be playing at home and anything can still happen so i believe we are up for the challenge and we’re going to live up to our expectations because the confidence the boys have is very much high.”

“On our January transfers obviously when you assemble a team you will feel like you’ve got good enough squad to be able to deliver so sometimes it’s not about the strength of the Squad there are some factors that can lead the team to not perform well.”

“In terms of our fixture against Jomo Cosmos tomorrow the preparations have gone really well, and it’s going to be a different game compared to last week’s victory, for me I’d say it’s a six pointer, because beating Cosmos will move us from position 16 to either 15 or 14 so we’d like to move gradually from the bottom of the table, so we’re bracing ourselves for a very tough game against us Cosmos but we’re up for the challenge. “he added.
