It’s been two months since coach Allan Freese joined Richards Bay FC, taking over from coach Simo Dladla.
The team was hoping that Freese will inspire them to join Amazulu, Golden Arrows and Maritzburg United as representatives of KwaZulu Natal in the top-flight next season.
However, things did not go according to plan, as Richards Bay FC failed to gain promotion with Chippa United retaining their top-flight status. Subsequently, the club have decided to part ways with Coach Allen Freese due to clash of the philosophy and the culture of the club.
The KZN club have also revealed that coach Dladla will take over as the new head coach for the club and will be assisted by coach Ronnie Gabriel and coach Sibusiso Msomi.
The Natal Rich Boys finished third on the first division log table last season- four points behind champions Sekhukhune United FC, who finished on 53 points and missed out on promotion to the DSTV Premiership to Chippa United FC.
On the other hand, the club is delighted to announce the signings of the following players for the upcoming season.
1.Mpho Mathebula (Supersport United)
2.Ayanda Ngwenya – GK (KwaDabeka Sporting)
3.Siphelele Magubane (Amazulu)
