After 14 long years of the public knowing essentially just the Kardashian’s side of things ,Ray J breaks his silence. Many know that the Kardashian’s quickly gained prominence after the release of the infamous sextape titled ‘Kim Kardashian, superstar’ featuring american singer, actor and television personality William Norwood, professionally known as Ray J.
The couple at the time had recorded the tape in 2002 but it was only released 5 years later in 2007 by Vivid entertainment. The story then was that the company had bought the tape for $1 million from an anonymous source. 14 years later Ray J claims that, “ This is all a lie from the beginning of us putting this sex tape out”. The singer described the whole ordeal as the biggest lie in the entertainment industry.
This after the first few episodes of The Kardashians on Hulu that featured the threat of a new sex tape being released. In one episode Kanye presents Kim with a hard drive allegedly contenting all the tapes.
Ray J opened up about how watching the Kardashians build an empire from this lie that they created, a lie that made him suicidal was heartbreaking. “For years I actually believed Kim was the victim. It is difficult to process how evil Hollywood is and what people do for fame”, tweeted american activist and political commentator Candace Owens.
Fans are eager to see the response on the new Hulu’s The Kardashians.
