Six learners at Ndamase SSS in Ngqeleni, between the ages of 14 and 17, have died while 18 other people, 16 learners sustained injuries, in an accident that occurred in Ngqeleni near Buntingville on T30 road.

The accident comes as a result after two vehicles and a rigid truck loaded with buiĺding materials, violently collided with a bakkie and swerved off the road. The vehicles then crashed on to the learners walking home on the side of the road, killing six on the scene.

The injured were rushed to the nearby hospital leaving witnesses terrified. In the past few days, a number of collisions have transpired leading to multiple deaths caused by pile ups during accident. The public say they are disturbed with how in every accident reported, the number of children is going high.

The families have not yet need interviewed by the media. Questions rise for Minister of road and traffic as people now ask if the drivers should be blamed or the conditions roads are in.
