With the public keeping a close eye on the story of Namhla Mtwa, concerned South Africans have kept up to date with her sisters tweets, with the latest news alleging she is currently receiving threats to delete her tweets and facebook posts and has been fled out of the country. Sanga Nozintaba, started a new twitter account, providing screenshots of conversations between Mtwa and the abusive boyfriends Major Bekezulu.

Namhla Mtwa is a 35 year old who was killed at her hoe, shot 9 times in her car by an unknown individual who the family believes was sent by the boyfriend. She was involved in an abusive relationship with a well known business man in uMthata. Major Bekezulu in 2018 was released on R50 000 bail, after he arrested for the murder of his two employees. It is said that Bekezulu is feared in and around Eastern Cape.
Allegations of Mtwa’s family being in danger are growing, the public having their close eye on the sister, say she has been safely taken out of the country and that the family is under police protection. The new findings has not been confirmed by law enforcement. Angry South Africans are however behind the family and continue to call for justice, tagging Minister Bheki Cele and the president, urging they intervene and take action against Major.
