The Citizens of Etihad locked horns with Norwich City on Saturday, in a 5 goals thriller match at the Etihad stadium.

After succumbing a 1-0  defeat away from home in the opening fixture of the English Premier League against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, meanwhile Norwich City also suffered a 3-0 defeat against Liverpool last weekend. Both teams came into the fixture looking to register their first win of the season and secure 3 points.

In the opening half Timothy Krul, goalkeeper of Norwich City gave Manchester City the lead through an own goal in  the 7^th minute of the encounter, Jack Grealish in the 22^nd minute scored his first Manchester City goal on his home debut at the club extending The Citizens lead to 2-0. The Citizens went into the half-time leading Norwich City.

In the second half The Citizens came out ruthless as Aymeric Laporte extended their lead in the 64^th minute , Raheem Sterling striked in the 71^st minute and found the back of the net making the score line 4-0 against Norwich.

In the dying minutes Riyad Mahrez found the back of the net in the 84^th minute finishing off Norwich City making the full-time score 5-0. The Citizens have now registered their first win of the season. In their upcoming fixture The Citizens will face Arsenal.
