It was indeed a rather sad day for fans, friends and family waking up to a tragedy news on the passing of the boss zonke hit maker after he committed suicide on the 23rd February 2022. He could have turned 35 this day, however on this said, he marked his first heavenly birthday in heaven. He was survived by his wife, children, mother and siblings.

Fans and celebrities took it to social media to honor his legacy and all the great work he did in empowering the youth to believe in themselves and in making a great change within the entertainment industry, the likes of uncle Vinny whom he mentored and in also teaching many about family values.

The legends barbershop will be launched at waterfall corner in honoring “Rick Rick” where the first 35 customers to register at the store will get a free cut and you can also bring in blankets or warm clothes for kids orphanages, in order to give back to the community, most especially to the disadvantaged family.

Ricky left many with fond memories which will be remembered for life as he has empower many in believing themselves, indeed his legacy lives on. Happy heavenly birthday to the king.
