Cape Town City confirms the signing of the 21 year old centre forward Douglas Mapfumo, who joins on a Three years deal.

Mapfumo joins Cape Town City FC after spending a season long loan with Cape Umoya FC in the GladAfrica Championship.

The Zimbabwean born younger star, will don jersey number 19, for the mother city side. Mapfumo is a product of the Legends academy .

Cape Town City is bolding up their squad for the new DSTV Premiership season, as they will be starting their 2021/22 season, in the MTN 8 Fixture against Amazulu FC who finished second in the 2020/21 season at 18:00 on Sunday evening.
