The lifeless body of biker Nicolas Klingekhoeffer was found by a farmworker on Wednesday morning in Gonubie, East London. The 37 year old has been missing since Saturday 11 June 2022.

During the Lilyfontein Funduro bike race that Klingekhoeffer took part in, the biker went missing. Earlier in the week, organizers arranged with racers to look into the footage to assist with the search.

Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli confirmed that Klingekhoeffer’s body was found in the bush by a farmworker next to his bike. He was found 1km away from where the race took place and an inquest docket has been opened.
