Bayern Munich kicked of their 2021/22 Bundesliga campaign against Borussia Monchebgladbach. The champions came into the match looking to start on a high.

Playing from home Borussia Monchebgladbach started the match like a house on fire putting pressure on the bundesliga champions, Alassane Plea scored the match opener on the 10th minute as the foals continued putting more pressure on Bayern.

Bayern Munich talisman Robert Lewandowski continued where he left off in the previous season as he scored an equalizer in the 42nd minute to force the match to go into the break as a stalemate.
