Police commissioner of Easterm Cape, Nomthetheleli Lilian Mene has announced that a senior manager has been appointed to deal with the murder case of Namhla Mtwa.

Namhla was gunned down in her driveway at her home in Sdwadwa view in Mthatha on 21 April 2022. Her sister, Sanga Mtwa took it to social media to ask for help for justice to be served as the case was already opened but no arrests have been made yet.

It is alleged that Namhla was in an abusive relationship, Sanga shared pictures of the conversations between Namhla and her partner. Pictured of the bruises she endured during the relationship were also shared on social media.
