Limpopo derby, Ma-Indies FC locked horns with First Touch Academy on Saturday afternoon in a Limpopo derby encounter of the Hollywood bets Ladies Super League at the Giyani Stadium.

Ma-Indies came into the match looking to secure a win against First Touch Academy as they previously lost against First Touch earlier this year, meanwhile First Touch wanted to extend their winning streak over Ma-Indies.

The opening half had some galore action as both teams showed creativity and created chances.

Jeanet Fisher found the back of the net on the 4th minute, and gave First Touch the lead. First Touch’s lead was short-lived as Molepo Rapatsa leveled matters for Ma-Indies on the 9th minute. Fisher with a brace extended the lead of First Touch on the 13th minute. Ma-Indies went into the half-time trailing by a goal down.

In the second half Ma-Indies looked virtuous upfront as they created a few chances and a free kick from Xiluva Tshabalala made Ma-Indies bounce back into the game on the 59th minute. Indies and First Touch kept on creating chances but failed to convert them. The match ended into a 2-2 draw and both teams secured a point with Jeanet Fisher walking away with the Player Of The Match accolade and prize money.
