Ayanda Ncwane Visits Grieving Families | KZN Floods

Ayanda Ncwane on 14 April, visited families in Kwa Zulu Natal, affected by the flooding. The Real Housewife of Durban former cast, along with her team, crossed rivers to get to the families, offering prayer, blankets and financial assistance.

Over 390 lives have been lost caused by the flooding, with some being children younger than the age of 3 years. Amongst the families Ayanda visited, Ayanda donated multiple blankets and an alleged R60 000. one of the family he visited lost all four children when the house collapsed and got swept away by the heavy rain.

The flooding in KZN has been declared as a national disaster with the government immediately availing funds to assist and attempt to restore the province. the traffic and road departed is set to immediately rebuild and fix roads destroyed. Minister of Transport Fikile Mbabula has said travelling to KZN is permitted however does not advice use of vehicles in areas badly damaged.

the province has been without water and electricity id certain areas. the president is still in the province to  monitor the damage and assist with allocation of the finances. celebrities like Ayanda Ncwane visited families to offer help, many more have contributed financially with also the Gift of the Givers, who are known for being the fist to help in such situations. The public has also helped in donating canned food and currencies to hand a helping hand.
