Since the start of Idols SA on Sunday 17 July, fans are not so moved with the new season as they say they miss Randall and watching Unathi prepare for a blissful lough.
Idols season 18 started off with new judges Thembi Seete and JR, this comes after the departure of Unathi and Randall. Viewers did not start the season well, noting that many found it hard to concentrate, missing the two former judges who are now replaced. Even so there were fun moments they found to enjoy.

Much talent throughout the first episode of season 18, and JR seen as the new Randal who is definitely not ready to sugarcoat things and says it like it is, with a slightly serious face like Randal. Moving to Thembi, people can relate to her generous motherly judgement but is said to mislead many and want her to be a bit more firm.
Under the #idols, its mostly about missing Randall and somehow little to no wooden mic videos shared but hopefully throughout the season, fans can feel the judges and more talent will come.
