Tshabalala Lands PSL Contract

Africa Newz has been informed that former Emmanuel and Ndengeza FC Midfielder Matimu Tshabalala has signed a contract for a Premier Soccer League club.

Although his agent, Yohanna Mathevula of Sundani Sports Group, refused to name the DStv Premiership outfit, he did confirm that the 28-year-old has found a new home despite a season that ended with Leopards relegated from Motsepe Foundation Championship after two decades in the second tier of South African football.

 

Moreover Black Leopards recently confirmed their return to the PSL after purchasing the status of All Stars.

 

Amazulu, Polokwane City, Sekhukhune United and SuperSport United are the first clubs that have been showing interest in the 28-year-old Midfielder, who has been released by Black Leopards on the expiry of his contract.

Indications are that he has put pen to paper with a PSL club, but when pushed for a name, his agent said that information was not for him to disclose.

“What I can tell you is that we have signed with a Dstv Premiership team last week, the team has been professional in their approach to doing this deal and were genuinely interested in Matimu , who is of course, a great player, ” Mathevula explained.

“ I can’t reveal the team’s name now because of I’m respecting the contract, but an official announcement will be made In the coming days from this PSL team that we signed with,” he added.
