The Boks went into the half-time trailing by 6-9. Heading into the second half The Springboks were faster as ever. The Irish Lions schoolboy mistakes costed them as Pollard stretched the Springboks lead to 18-9 in the second half. Both teams conceded 10 penalties.
Pollard again in the final 10 minutes bagged 3 penalties for the Springboks and sealed the game with a 27-9 victory. The Springboks’ win levels the series at 1-1 as the Irish Lions won the first test last Saturday. The win takes the game to a decider in Cape Town as both teams will lock horns again next week.
