Mzansi Magic’s The Queen became the first South African telenovela to produce and air a crossover episode. This defining moment was compared to the internationally acclaimed How to Get Away With Murder crossover when Annalise Keating invited Olivia Pope (The Fixer ) to her lecture room.

Another success cross over of  the of 2 Mzanzi’s favorite Telenovela , The queen and The river. The confusion was brought upon the actor Brenda Ngxoli known as Noma who act as Connie Ferguson( Harriet) best  friend on the queen and played the role of  Sindi Dlathu’s ( Lindiwe) sister in law on the river. All this arose after Harriet Khoza’s wedding.
