Cassper Nyovest gave Maphorisa and Kabza De Small their flowers with a post on Facebook about their impact on Amapiano music.

Mahikeng born Hip Hop and Amapiano artist Cassper Nyovest, is regarded as one of the most successful artists in South Africa. Nyovest is also known to be a businessman who has been successful in the music industry.

On Friday evening, the rapper posted on his Facebook, expressing how grateful he is, to have Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe (Maphorisa) and Kabelo Petrus Motha (Kabza de Small) in the game and for taking amapiano music to the world.

On the post he said we must not ever take for granted or neglect what Maphorisa and Kabza did for amapiano and South African music with Scorpion Kings one and two.

In 2020, the genre’s popularity increased across the African continent, with notable increases in digital streams and chart successes in countries far from its South African origins.
