Judicial Commission of Inquiry Second Part Report for Tuesday

Judicial Commission

“The Presidency will tomorrow, Tuesday, 1 February 2022, formally receive the second part of the report of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into Allegations of State Capture, Corruption and Fraud in the Public Sector.” Statement issued by Presidency SA

The second report finally on its way, a step in the right direction that will lead to a conclusion and help SA know where to next. The first report layered it all out exposing corrupt individuals who saw no wrong in misusing the government funds meant for the people.

South Africa has been through difficulties with one event after the other,l. When the first report was handed over to the President, Sunday morning we woke up to news that the parliament is on fire with Zandile Mafe the accused currently undergoing court proceedings to receive bail.

People don’t seem to be as so excited about the second report, saying they already have too much to deal with to make space for state capture. Majority have made mentions on how the matter should just be kept under the rug and let us move on as a country.

The time has not yet been confirmed, however expectations are at 20:00pm as per usual family meeting time. In the meantime SONA will continue to take place as the original key for the city hall has been handed over in a formal ceremony by the Cape Town Mayor.
