Messi signs a new deal at Paris Saint Germain after parting ways with Barcelona. The 34-year-old Argentinian striker parted ways with the club after having played 21 years at Barcelona. In his stay at the Catalan Giants Messi made 768 appearances and scoring 663 goals in those appearances.

Messi won 34 trophies with Barcelona breaking a club record, in those trophies he lifted 10 La Liga titles, 7 Copa Del Rey & 4 UEFA Champions League titles. The Catalan Giants had to let go of Messi due to financial and structural obstacles.

Barcelona’s all time decorated player signed a new deal of 2 years with an option to extend it by one year with France Ligue 1 team PSG. Both parties agreed in terms with a deal worth, €25m per year after tax plus bonuses. The 34-year-old joins PSG as a free-agent.

Bookies predicts that PSG will be a deadly threat in France Ligue 1 Championship, as Messi will form partnership with his former teammate Neymar Junior and Kylian Mbappe. It is believed that Messi will don the NO.30 Jersey.
