Multi-award winning gospel singer Ayanda Ntanzi begins a new chapter of becoming a lawyer. Famous for his recent single Basuka the singer will be joining a law firm specialising in medical malpractice.

Ayanda said,” I am working towards learning new things, I will try to figure out if it’s the space I want to be in before I decide what I want to do but for now I am just seeing how the law works”.

He said that he chose to specialise in medical malpractice because many people do not know their rights in South Africa. He further said it won’t be hard for him to juggle his new profession with his music career.

Graduating from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2019, Ntanzi only started to work now as he felt that the time was right. “I have worked so hard for my music career and to build my brand”.

He said he was also learning about copyright so that he could help his fellow musicians who are not well aware of what a copyright is or how one goes about getting it and to protect themselves.
