Tshwane University Of Technology Students closed down Propaganda demanding justice for their fellow student killed.
It is alleged that a Tshwane University of Technology student Kamohelo Skhwama Chiota popularly known as “Mr. Damage Control” was shot and killed last night just outside a well known restaurant Propaganda in Pretoria CBD. The motive behind his shooting is unknown.
Fellow students took it to social media in the early hours of Friday morning, pouring their messages of condolences on his Facebook account, whilst others reflected on the memories they’ve shared with him before he passed. TUT students went on to shut down the restaurant demanding justice for Chiota.
Chiota was part of the TUT SRC/ISRC under the constituency of SASCO (South African Students Congress ) and a former student in the faculty of management sciences at the University. Some have described Chiota as a humble and quite person, whilst some described him as one of the selfless cadre’s in politics (SASCO).
The University is yet to issue a statement on his death. In the meantime, his account is still receiving warm messages of comfort to his friends and family and fellow students who know and were positively affected by him and the work he did.
