In the heart of the town in Pretoria, a store changed its name from Brands to SHEIN, a well-known online clothing store.
Consumers were stunned when the store was slowly providing clothes that are only sold on SHEIN, when it used to only sell clothes normally known as those from “Makuleng” stores that do not at most times offer quality clothing and sells at a small price.
However in this case the store was slowly emerging in selling inferior quality, to slowly selling tops that are available on the online store. From tops, the store started supplying dresses and surprisingly in no time, they were selling 65% of the SHEIN stork.
From hanging the name BRANDS at the entrance of the store, now the name SHEIN has replaced the previous name and is now boldly hanging outside the store. When consumers when to discuss the sudden change on social media, many of them who are familiar with products from SHEIN, emphasised on how real the clothes are.
Over the weekend, the store was packed and busy beyond control, as more and more people came to learn about the store and on how clothes they now supply are not inferior quality. SHEIN is known for its ever evolving fashion trends and the eye catching sale.
The SHEIN store in Pretoria is also full of sale papers plugged everywhere, from the entrance door, to its changing rooms. How and why BRANDS opted for the change is still not known, SHEIN has not reported on any lost shipment or regarded the store in Pretoria as illegal trading.
